The Cheerleader Who Needed More Attention

So i was on youtube and stumbled upon this video about a girl named Desiree Jennings. Shes the young girl that got a swine flu shot and got what doctors described as dystonia, an incurable disease. I also stumbled on two other videos of her, one on how she couldnt walk normal but could run forward completely normal and another on how her “incurable” disease was being cured. What a miracle right???? I dont think so.. It seems to me that this whole thing was a fake!!!

First of all, when i first saw it on the news i was shocked that this happened from getting a flu shot and felt bad for the girl. They just showed her on her couch at home barely being able to talk without having seizures or muscle twitches. However once i saw the other videos i started having second thoughts about whether this was real or not. On the second video i had seen they focused a bit more on actually showing what she was and wasn’t capable of doing because of this disease. So in this video she was shown walking backwards in her home and on the street because for her something as simple as walking forward was dangerous. Then they showed her running perfectly fine next to the reporter interviewing her and she was also able to talk perfectly without a problem, something she isnt able to do normally because of this disease but as soon as she slowed down everything came back, she couldnt speak well, and could hardly stand. Even watching the video for the first time i felt like she was just mocking people with actual disabilities and in a way i felt offended. It felt like i was watching somebody try really hard to fool people.

The third video showed her sitting at home with an i.v. attached to her and she mentioned who she was and went on about how she had been getting treatment and was getting better from this “incurable” neurological disease. I dont see how if this had messed her up so bad physically how it was easy for her to get better in a matter of weeks!! If u ask me this seems like a girl who got tired of playing the role of the girl who wasnt able to do anything and knew that she probably couldnt keep it going anymore so BAM shes cured!!!!! a miracle right??

So usually I get very tempted to go out and get a Carl’s Jr.  burger when I see one of their commercials, so naturally when I saw the commercial Audrina Patridge did for the teriyaki burger I wanted to go out and get one. Then I started thinking. Did I really want to get one??? The burger comes with grilled pineapple and it looked so good but then I realized I dont like pineapple with any food. So why did I want it?  If  a had seen that same commercial with a guy eating that burger im sure i would’ve realized that the burger had pineapple and that it wasnt for me but I was more focused on the girl that was eating it and how she ate it. Thats what I call fine advertising !!!
